Auto C for Windows

Auto C allows you to create the skeleton for a Windows application in C by drawing controls on a form using a mouse. Use a form layout designer to create a graphical user interface in C. A WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) visual style design environment is provided to generate the C source code for a windows program.

Auto C has built-in support for four popular C/C++ compilers. Just click a button to compile, link and run the application being designed. This software does a lot to demystify the fundamentals of Windows and how DLLs are used by applications.

While many C IDEs have dialog box editors, no other free C IDE has a visual studio style form layout designer. Also provided is the capability to automatically generate the source code an application needs to dynamically load a DLL and its exported functions, making them usable by the EXE application.
